USWNT midfielder Andi Sullivan has torn her ACL while participating in the College Cup.
Sullivan was injured late in overtime against Santa Clara in the second round of the College Cup, having to come off the field in the 101’. Santa Clara went on to score in the 108’, winning 1-0 and eliminating Stanford.
Sullivan has been one of the most interesting new additions to the USWNT, getting her first start against Switzerland on October 19. She started again in the second game against Switzerland, and then in both games against Romania. She pulled full 90-minute shifts twice, and kept up admirably over all four games.
