Sevilla's Toni Payne awaits clearance from Fifa to switch her international allegiance from the United States to Nigeria.
The 23-year-old, who was born and raised in the United States, has represented the American youth teams at all levels, including the 2012 U17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan.
However, she has decided to continue her international career with Nigeria and was listed in a 24-player list for their Spain camp, however, her eligibility has to be determined by Fifa.
Fifa rules require that an application is made from the interested association seeking permission before a player switches her allegiance which has been done by the Nigeria Football Federation.
