Ghanaian topflight Aduana Stars have "condemned the unfortunate and unacceptable behaviour" of their fans during the club's Ghana Special Competition match against Medeama at Dormaa's Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Wednesday.
Unhappy about the performance of referee Emmanuel Eshun, the 'Ogya' faithful resorted to launching missiles at the central man, his assistants, the match commissioner and the away bench.
The game consequently saw a series of interruptions and the referee was reportedly held hostage after the final whistle.
