TAMPA, Fla. -- Kellyn Acosta is motivated to take his chance to shine on the international soccer stage, but the 21-year-old midfielder admitted he was "upset" with his play and that of the U.S. national team against Panama.
Acosta and the U.S. face Martinique in their second match of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, with the team hoping to make amends on Wednesday night for a subpar performance in last weekend's 1-1 tie against Panama.
The FC Dallas player was on for all 90 minutes of the opener in Nashville, Tennessee, and was especially critical of his own play on Twitter.
