The United States Men’s National Team will take on Ecuador and Chile during the March international fixture window. It marks the first chance for Gregg Berhalter to have everyone in the USMNT player pool available to be called up. Berhalter’s first two matches, which occurred during U.S. Soccer’s annual January Camp, occurred outside the window, leaving most European-based players unavailable for selection.
So, with the opportunity to bring in several players from Europe as well as Major League Soccer, it will be interesting to see who Berhalter opts to choose as he takes advantage of the only FIFA window before preparations for this summer’s Gold Cup begin in earnest.
