Weston McKennie’s fabulous debut season with Italian giants Juventus hit another high point on Wednesday as the American midfielder came off the bench in the second half to grab a goal and help his side back into the race for the Scudetto.
McKennie entered Juve’s huge clash with AC Milan in the 64th minute, subbing on for Paulo Dybala with the Old Lady nursing a 2-1 lead. While the move by Andrea Pirlo was clearly to provide his side with a more defensive presence, it would be the USMNT star who added the match-clinching insurance goal just 11 minutes after coming on.
