The NWSL MVP scored quickly after coming on as a halftime substitute in the U.S. national team's 4-0 win over Switzerland.
It's been a good month for Lynn Williams.
The 23-year-old forward scored 49 seconds into her U.S. national team debut Wednesday, netting the opener quickly after entering as a halftime substitute in a 4-0 friendly win over Switzerland in Sandy, Utah.
Williams claimed the NWSL MVP award earlier this month after an 11-goal campaign with the Western New York Flash, then scored a last-gasp extra-time equalizer as her side won the NWSL Championship over the Washington Spirit on penalties.
