After a month’s break, Victor Wanyama’s Montreal Impact were able to pick up a 2-0 win against Vancouver Whitecaps in a Major League Soccer (MLS) tie on Tuesday.
Wanyama and teammates welcomed their opponents at Stade Saputo as Romell Quioto and Lassi Lappalainen scored two important goals to boost their hopes of better performances going forward.
Montreal Impact have not been able to host matches at their home stadium for over 10 months where they last picked up a 3-0 win against the New York Red Bulls to close the season in 2019.
