American defender Ventura Alvarado entered the match as a substitute in the 70th minute.
Club America qualified for the competition by winning the 2015-2016 CONCACAF Champions League. The Mexican power faces Real Madrid in the semifinals on Thursday, December 15th at the International Stadium Yokohama.
