The United States men’s national team are Concacaf Nations League champions after one of the wildest matches in team history. The U.S. overcame two one-goal deficits to fight back and win 3-2 after Extra Time. Christian Pulisic scored what appeared to be the winning penalty late into Extra Time before Mexico were awarded a penalty of their own on the brink of the final whistle. Andres Guardado was denied the equalizer by the heroics of Ethan Horvath to clinch the win for the USA.
