Kyle Scott has signed a new contract with Chelsea. The 18-year-old confirmed on his Instagram that he has signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Scott was born in England, but has United States and Ireland passports. He has played for all three countries' national teams, first with England's U-16 team, then Ireland's U-17's, before joining up with the U.S. He played with the Americans at the U-18 level and, most recently, with the U-20's at the Stevan Vilotic Tournament in September. He is still eligible to play for any of the three countries and does not have to file any one-time switches because none of the competitions he has played in were official tournaments.
