The U.S U-18 men's national team went a perfect 3-0 in the group stage of the Vaclav Jezek Tournament in the Czech Republic.
The U-18s defeated Slovakia in the first match, 3-1. Nick Taitague and Justin Rennicks scored in the first half. Slovakia pulled one back in the 80th minute, but Shaft Brewer scored an insurance goal in the 90th minute to seal the win.
In their second match, they took down Hungary by another 3-1 margin. Jose Carranza put the U.S. up in the 8th minute, before Hungary scored an equalizer. Taitague's second half brace secured the victory for the U-18s.
