The January Camp roster for the United States Men’s National Team just got smaller. Today, New York City FC goalkeeper Sean Johnson and Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris have departed USMNT camp in Bradenton, Florida. Sean Johnson has a minor knee strain and would not be fully fit for the USMNT’s upcoming friendly against Trinidad and Tobago. Jordan Morris asked to be excused from camp and received permission from head coach Gregg Berhalter. In Morris’ case, his departure has only fueled the speculation that he is off to Swansea City on a loan, as has been reported over the past few days.
