Ricardo Pepi has been on fire as of late. The 18-year-old forward has become a star in 2021, both for FC Dallas and the United States Men’s National Team. During this World Cup qualifying, he is tied with Panama’s Rolando Blackburn for the Concacaf goalscoring lead with 3 goals so far. He’s also 10th on the MLS Golden Boot list with 13 goals during the season.
The hype train surrounding Pepi has fueled speculation surrounding his future, with several teams interested in signing him during the upcoming January transfer window. There are even reports that Pepi has agreed to personal terms with Bundesliga club Wolfsburg, which has only led others to join the race for the 18-year-old star.
