Rangers have a lot of work to do next week when they travel to the BayArena to face Leverkusen again, this time behind closed doors due to the coronavirus. Before that though, they have the derby against Celtic at the weekend. Leverkusen's unbeaten run extends to 10 matches and they have a game against Werder Bremen before the second leg.
Leverkusen have a strong advantage in the tie after a 3-1 first-leg victory over Rangers. They took the lead through a penalty in the first half, which was awarded by the referee who went over to look at the monitor following Edmundson's handball and Havertz converted it.
