Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked from his role as Tottenham coach, it has been confirmed.
The Argentine manager had come under pressure amid his side's underwhelming start to the season, as they sit 14th in the Premier League table and 20 points behind leaders Liverpool. The London club are also 11 points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, having failed to win any of their last five games in the English top-flight.
And chairman Daniel Levy has confirmed that the club have decided to make a change.

"We were extremely reluctant to make this change and it is not a decision the board has taken lightly, nor in haste," he told the club's website.
