Bayern hold on to earn the three points by beating Paderborn 3-2. Gnabry gave Bayern the lead in the first half when he latched onto Coutinho's brilliant chipped cross to beat Huth from a tight angle. Coutinho then doubled the lead after the break when he sidefooted the ball into the back of an empty net. Proger pulled one back for Paderborn with a half-volley before Lewandowski got Bayern's third with an excellent chip over Huth. Collins then finished the scoring with a wonderful long-range volley to beat Neuer.
