Gor Mahia defender Philemon Otieno has revealed the indefinite suspension of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) occasioned by effects caused by the coronavirus has affected him.
The K’Ogalo defender was eyeing a comeback from an operation he underwent to repair his right knee in August last year while playing for the national team Harambee Stars in a 2020 Africa Nations Championship (Chan) qualifier against Tanzania at Kasarani.
Otieno, who underwent surgery in 2019, was on course to making a comeback to K’Ogalo in March only for the Covid-19 pandemic to bring sports activities in the country to a grinding halt.
