Medeama coach Samuel Boadu has called on Ghanaian football authorities to do more to kick hooliganism out of the local game after crowd violence marred their Special Competition away clash with Aduana Stars on Wednesday.
The 1-1 draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa saw a series of stoppages due to crowd troubles amid complaints about officiating.
After the game, referee Emmanuel Eshun was reportedly held hostage by the home fans.

Reports also say the assistant referees, the match commissioner and the away bench were not spared in the attacks, which included the throwing of missiles.
