Over the weekend, 21 year-old New Jersey native Matt Miazga helped win Vitesse Arnhem’s first major trophy in 125 years.
Miazga arrived at Vitesse during the summer transfer window as a loanee from Chelsea FC. He’s made 33 appearances across all competitions this season and has a goal and two assists in 2,040 minutes. He took time out of his busy schedule to answer some questions via email from the Telegraph.
Just a couple weeks ago the team wasn’t sure that Miazga was going to play in the cup final due to an hamstring injury.
