'Maguire was a very good signing for Man Utd' - £80m star has brought a sense of 'calm' to the defence, says Johnsen

A former Old Trafford ace has talked up the impact the England international has had on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side since his arrival from Leicester

Harry Maguire has brought a sense of "calm" to Manchester United's defence, according to Ronny Johnsen, who believes the £80 million ($100m) star has a been a "very good signing" for the club.

United snapped Maguire up in a world-record deal in August, after a long-running transfer saga which had stretched back well over a year.

The 27-year-old has been the first man on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team sheet ever since, leading by example in the heart of the defence alongside Victor Lindelof.
