Legendary South African defender Lucas Radebe feels that Benni McCarthy is still inexperienced to be considered for the Bafana Bafana coaching job.
The retired striker recently expressed his desire to one day coach the South African senior national team in future.
Some have suggested that McCarthy should be Baxter’s long-term replacement should the experienced mentor leave Bafana before the expiry of his contract in 2022.
However, Radebe feels McCarthy still has a lot to learn before he can attempt at coaching Bafana Bafana.
“Benni still has a lot to learn, in my opinion,” Radebe told Isolezwe.
