A festival involving several Spanish footballers has raised over €600,000 in a bid to prevent the outbreak of Covid-19.
Many La Liga players joined in with La Liga Santander Fest on Saturday evening, combining with singers and other artists to help raise over €625,000.
Spain has been on lockdown since March 14, and remains one of the countries to be worst-affected by the global pandemic. The number of confirmed cases continues to rise, with over 6,000 confirmed to have lost their lives due to the deadly illness.

The festival exceeded many expectations, and is still open to donations, and helped bring in a million masks for health authorities, as well as the money.
