Josh Sargent has done it again. The 18-year-old American striker, just a week after scoring the lone goal for the United States against Peru, has scored once again for his club. This time, it was the game-winner as Werder Bremen came from behind to beat 2. Bundesliga side DSC Arminia Bielefeld 2-1.
Sargent’s goal occurred in the 86th minute and would hold on as the winning goal in a friendly match that Bremen set up to get guys more playing time. On a buildup down the left flank, Sargent slowed his run to ensure he was onside, which created space on the left side of the box where the defenders went after the ball.
