Jesse Marsch becomes assistant coach at RB Leipzig

Today, RB Leipzig announced, as part of the hiring of Ralf Rangnick as their head coach for the 2018-19 season, that former New York Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch will be hired as an assistant coach for the club. Marsch, who departed NYRB on Friday, signed a two-year deal with the Bundesliga side

RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff said of Jesse Marsch’s appointment, “Jesse Marsch has signed a two-year contract and will remain part of our coaching team after this season. He undoubtedly has the potential to become a head coach in Europe as well.
