Man United Women have three games in seven days and injuries to a number of the squad will make it difficult for them to rotate
Casey Stoney has criticised the scheduling of games, claiming player welfare hasn’t been taken into consideration as Manchester United prepare for their third match in seven days.
United beat Brighton 3-0 in the Women’s Super League on Sunday and, in an ideal world, Stoney would field a totally different side for their Continental Cup game against Liverpool on Wednesday lunchtime.
But, with up to six players out injured, it’s set to be a testing week and Stoney is unhappy with how the schedule has fallen.
