Jamshedpur FC have announced Owen Coyle as their new head coach on a two-year deal from the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season.
As reported earlier , Chennaiyin FC were only willing to offer a one-year extension to retain the services of the Scot but it is understood that Coyle was looking for a longer tenure on his contract.
The 54-year-old holds the distinction of propelling Chennaiyin FC to a play-off spot from a second to last spot in the league phase of the competition last season. He went on to lead the southerners to the final where the Marina Machans lost to ATK.
