After seeing his China U-23 side down Philippines U-23 8-0 in their 2020 AFC U-23 Championship qualification Group J match on Sunday, head coach Guus Hiddink has turned his attention towards their following match this Tuesday, against group hosts Malaysia.
Speaking in the post-match press conference to a room full of local journalists, questions were understandably focused on the coming encounter.
China are currently top of the group after two wins, while Malaysia, the only viable challenger to their supremacy in the group, are second with three points after one match.
