Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz can one day win the Ballon d’Or, according to German legend Lothar Matthaus.
Havertz, who turned 20 in June, had a remarkable 2018-19 season in central midfield for Leverkusen, scoring 20 goals in 45 games.
He finished second in the Bundesliga player of the season awards, just behind Dortmund’s Marco Reus, 10 years his senior.
