Lebogang Manyama’s goal deep into stoppage time saw Kaizer Chiefs surging on in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) title race with a 1-0 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
Just as it appeared Chiefs were headed to another disappointing draw after sharing the spoils with struggling Black Leopards the previous weekend, Manyama pounced to save the day for Chiefs three minutes into injury time.
The result saw Chiefs restore a 10-point gap at the summit, although their closest rivals Mamelodi Sundowns, who now have a game in hand, could still trim it back to seven.
