Gedion Zelalem features in Scottish Cup Final marred by post-match pitch invasion

United States youth international and Arsenal loanee, Gedion Zelalem, started for Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday. The famous club fell 3-2 thanks to a late Hibernian goal in stoppage time.

By all accounts Zelalem had a great match and was one of Rangers best players during his 63 minutes on the field. Fans of the club were vocal about their displeasure over seeing him taken off the field in the big match.

Zelalem was our MOTM for me, weird decision to take him off. Incredible what magic hat has done in a year though, semi-final was our trophy

It was blatantly obvious Zelalem was the best player on that park so why did he come off when holt was ineffective?
