You may have heard that the USWNT has an ongoing lawsuit with USSF (You can read the initial complaint here.) As part of that lawsuit, the USWNT players have alleged that their compensation per game is worse than the USMNT’s, but also that they are generally treated worse, such as getting inferior playing surfaces, worse travel, and inferior marketing. USSF president Carlos Cordeiro released a letter talking about the compensation for the USWNT with accompanying salary data in connection to this lawsuit.
