Fans file class-action lawsuit over canceled USWNT match in Hawaii

Lawyers for upset fans who had hoped to watch the U.S. women's national team play in Hawaii have filed a class-action suit.

Lawyers for upset fans who had hoped to watch the U.S. women's national team play in Hawaii have filed a class-action suit following the canceled match, according to The Associated Press.

U.S. Soccer decided to cancel Sunday's scheduled game against Trinidad and Tobago because of poor field conditions at Honolulu's Aloha Stadium.

While the cost of the 16,000 tickets sold are being refunded, the suit seeks compensation for other expenses such as airfare, hotel and parking expenses.
