Former United States international and Arsenal's three-time Olympic champion Heather O'Reilly is among six female players from five countries to sign up for Juan Mata's Common Goal campaign, the charity has announced.
O'Reilly, who retired from the international game last year after 231 appearances for the U.S., has pledged to give at least one percent of her salary to football-related good causes.
The 32-year-old midfielder, who also picked up a World Cup winners' medal in 2015, joined Women's Super League (WSL) club Arsenal in January.
Last month, her former U.S. teammates Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe became the first female players to commit to Mata's project, but Monday's raft of new signings brings the total number involved -- male and female -- to 18.
