Gor Mahia legend Peter Dawo has picked the most memorable moment as the club went on to make history by clinching the Caf Cup Winners Cup in 1987.
Dawo, who scored the goal that handed the Kenyan club their first-ever major title in a 1-1 draw against Esperance of Tunisia at Kasarani Stadium, insists his most memorable game was in the semi-finals against Benin’s Dragons de l'Ouémé, where they eventually won 3-2.
“We had drawn the first leg away from home 0-0. But it was the second leg that was particularly tough,” Dawo explained to CafOnline.
