When the dust settled, we can look back at this transfer window as likely the biggest ever for United States internationals, powered by the moves of Sergiño Dest from Ajax to Barcelona and Weston McKennie moving from Schalke 04 to Juventus on loan. The biggest leap across the pond was probably Reggie Cannon moving from FC Dallas to Boavista FC in Portugal or Brenden Aaronson inking a deal to move from the Philadelphia Union to Red Bull Salzburg in Austria (and join American coach Jesse Marsch) at the end of the 2020 MLS season.
