Chelsea started their season by lifting the UEFA Super Cup and followed that up with an unbeaten start to the Premier League, winning their first two games before drawing 1-1 with Liverpool just before the international break. As for Villa, after losing 3-2 to Watford in their opening match of the season, they're now unbeaten in their last three in all competitions, with two wins and a draw.
