Carli Lloyd's World Cup final hat trick was the highlight of her year and the United States', but adding U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year isn't a bad honor to add. The midfielder was given the award for all of her play in 2015 and marks the second time she has been named the country's player of the year, along with 2008.
Lloyd led the U.S. with 18 goals in 2015, a new career high for goals in a calendar year, but it was her goals at the World Cup that earned her all of her many accolades.
