Milan just about hold on to a narrow win in a really hotly-contested game. Piatek won and scored a penalty before Hernandez finished off Suso's delightful through ball to put Milan 2-0 up, but Hernandez turned in a corner at his own end to halve the deficit before the break. Bonaventura curled in a nice finish with the Bologna defence caught napping straight from the restart, but the home side got back into the game through Sansone's penalty after Hernandez' foul on Orsolini was checked by VAR. Bologna couldn't come up with the chance to level the scores late one, while Castillejo probably should have secured the points at the death.
