The sudden emergence of Bobby Wood has probably been the most surprising story line of 2015 for the United States men's national team. His rise from relatively unknown quantity to one of the better options at striker for the national team in the span of just 12 months has been quite remarkable to watch and one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal year for the team.
In addition to scoring four goals against tough competition for the USMNT this year, he's also banging them in for his club Union Berlin. Today in the club's 3-0 victory over Dusseldorf, the Hawaii-born striker scored an impressive brace.
