Bandari FC registered a 2-0 victory over US Ben Guerdane in the second round of their Caf Confederation Cup match played on Saturday.
The Dockers needed two second-half goals from Yema Mwana and Abdalla Hassan to secure the first leg victory against the Tunisian opponents.
Hassan's 9th-minute effort was the first real attempt Bandari made to attack their guests but Santos Amota closed in on the Kenyan international to clear before he entered the box.
