Mikel Arteta still hopes to have Kieran Tierney available to face Manchester City on Saturday, despite the defender still being in coronavirus self-isolation in Scotland.
It was announced at the start of the international break that Tierney, along with Ryan Christie, would have to endure two weeks of quarantine north of the border after being deemed to have been in "close contact" with Stuart Armstrong, who had tested positive, by the Lothian Health Protection Team
Tierney, who had been playing a computer game in a hotel room with Armstrong, tested negative for Covid after his team-mate's positive result, but still had to remain in Scotland due to regulations imposed by the government.
