Former U.S. soccer star Abby Wambach has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of intoxicants — a reversal of her previous plans to fight the charge.
Wambach, 35, appeared before a Multnomah County Circuit Court judge Tuesday afternoon and, as a part of the plea, agreed to enroll in a diversion program that could see her charge expunged in a year should she follow specific conditions, according to The Oregonian.
