An employee who police said recorded co-workers in a Southington Target bathroom is facing voyeurism charges.

Joy Recio, 40, of High Street in Bristol is scheduled to appear April 12 in Superior Court in New Britain on three counts of voyeurism with malice, police and court records show.

Recio was arrested Feb. 10 after officers investigated a complaint about the discovery of a motion-activated camera in an employees’ restroom, police said. The camera was pointed toward a toilet and set up so people in the handicapped-accessible, unisex bathroom could only be viewed from the waist down.

According to police, officers got the call from the Target store at 600 Executive Boulevard on Jan.
