Two people are facing 20 charges after a violent home invasion in Meriden Monday during which they pistol-whipped a neighbor, police said.
Jamaira Johnson pulled the woman to the floor by her hair, they said, and Corey Rispoli pinned her to the floor and struck her in the head with the butt of a gun until she almost lost consciousness.
Rispola was arrested on 11 charges, Johnson on nine, police said. Both face counts of home invasion, first-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful restraint and first-degree larceny. Police didn’t give their ages or say what they are accused of stealing.
