Police say they are looking for the thieves who stole an idling car with two children in it outside a Wolcott convenience store late Sunday night.
The children, ages 11 and 5, are safe and not injured. The 11-year-old jumped out of the car as one of the thieves was driving away, police say; the 5-year-old was later found sleeping in the abandoned vehicle.
“We are still searching for the suspects in the case, who will not only be charged with stealing the motor vehicle, but also two counts of kidnapping, and 2 counts of risk of injury to a minor,” Chief Edward L.
