The cars collided about 4:15 p.m. on Route 159, or Windsor Avenue, near the I-91 overpass. Police suspect one car, which had more than one occupant, was headed south in the lanes for northbound traffic.
A section of the road was shut down while officers from a regional accident reconstruction team, the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad, gathered evidence. The road has since been reopened.
