The family of a woman who was stabbed to death in her Windsor Locks home Monday said she devoted her final years to helping her adult son, who has been arrested and charged with her murder.
Police found Barbara Landry, 60, dead in an upstairs bedroom at the family’s John Street home after her son, Kevin Landry, called 911 and confessed to killing her, police said.
“This is an extremely challenging time for the Landry family, in both trying to mourn Barbara’s death and trying to process this unspeakable tragedy,” the family said Thursday.
Landry’s husband and daughter particularly wanted to refute statements Kevin Landry allegedly made to police Monday — that his mother had sexually abused him.
