Wicked winds won’t wind down, Monday will be cold

Spring may arrive later this week, but Monday will feel more like January in Connecticut, with cold temperatures and icy winds.

It will be sunny, but the high temperature will only reach the low 30s, the National Weather Service says. Wind gusts will be as high as 32 mph in the Hartford area, and some meteorologists say it will feel like it’s in the single digits.

There’s a chance of snow Tuesday, but if it snows it won’t amount to much. The temperature will be a little warmer, with a high in the upper 30s and a low in the upper 20s, the weather service says.
