A Wethersfield man died late Friday night after he lost control of his car and crashed along Route 15 in Wallingford, state police announced Saturday morning.
Jose A. Rodriguez, 26, was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital after the crash but succumbed to his injuries, state police said.
The crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. Friday on Route 15 northbound between Exits 65 and 66, where Rodriguez’s car traveled off the road from the left lane and hit the middle concrete median, according to a police report.
Investigators do not know why Rodriguez lost control but noted he was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
